Sarah Sousa
Sarah supports teens (12+) and adults who are looking for more than learning how to cope. She will help to explore your emotions, patterns, relationships, and experiences with curiosity and compassion.
As a therapist and former educator, Sarah understands how easy it can be to lose touch with yourself while trying to meet expectations, keep moving forward, and take care of everyone around you.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, creative, and experiential, drawing from Internal Family Systems Therapy, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, and somatic practices. Rather than staying only in your thoughts, she will help you work toward deeper emotional understanding, self-compassion, and meaningful change.
At the heart of Sarah’s work is creating a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, understood, and accepted.
Therapy can be a place to slow down and explore the parts of yourself that may have been shaped by expectations, relationships, self-protection, or the need to keep everything together.
Sarah will help you make space to question what no longer fits, reconnect with your authentic self, and develop a deeper sense of trust in who you are.
You don’t have to navigate this alone. When you’re ready, Sarah would be honoured to walk alongside you.
